Eastern PA literary zine—submit.

Dear writers, artists, makers of good things, colleagues, and friends,

New Fraktur Arts Journal is pleased to announce that we are currently reading submissions of poetry, fiction and non-fiction for Issue #4.

Based out of the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, New Fraktur is a privately funded journal dedicated to showcasing the work of emerging writers and creative artists, focusing on—but by no means limited to—new and original thought.  We will continually strive to represent the best work that is available to us, working in conjunction with artists in all media to foster an ongoing dialogue centered around what it is we do when we create.

All submissions are reviewed through our online submission manager, and complete guidelines may be found there.  Although submissions are accepted year-round, the deadline for consideration for our summer issue is May 1.

Sample PDFs of the first three issues of the New Fraktur Arts Journal are available upon request—please email newfraktur@gmail.com. We have featured work by Amra Brooks, Chris Carosi, Roxanne Carter, Eric de Jesus, Kari Larsen, Andy Martrich, Alex Rieser, Paolo Roy, Ben Roylance, and Joseph Trinkle, to name but a few.  If you’d like to add your name to our contributors’ ranks, we’d love to see your work.  Be sure to like New Fraktur Arts Journal on Facebook to follow the latest happenings.

We look forward to hearing from you!

All the best,

Kate Marchetto

niaking asked: Just wanted to say hi. I don't know if you remember me, but you submitted something to one of my zines a million years ago. I just saw Virgie Tovar posted something on Facebook where she quoted you, and I was like, "I wonder if that's the same Jackie Wang..." So I looked you up and here you are!

yeah! of course i remember you. glad to re-connect. what are you up to these days?
